A Dynamic IP Address is an IP address that changes over time. Most services provide a Dynamic IP address unless otherwise specified. They can change every time you log onto your computer, or every few days, weeks, or months, depending on your Internet Service Provider (ISP). These IP addresses are automatically assigned by a DHCP server. A general use type of connection not recommended for use with server applications.
