Secure Real-time Transport Protocol or SRTP. An extension of the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) that features enhanced security measures. SRTP provides encryption, confidentiality, message authentication, and replay protection to your transmitted audio and video traffic. SRTP is used primarily in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communication.
