TCP

Transmission Control Protocol or TCP. A data transmission protocol that enables your computer to talk to another computer. TCP is one of the core protocols governing Internet data exchange, directing how a connection is created between networks. As well as converting information into packets, sending and confirming those packets are sent and that they arrive at its destination.
